Quality Patterns

My mission is to provide quality patterns that are easy to read and follow for all levels of crocheters. To add useful tips, graphs, drawings, photos and/or links to help you get to a completed project. I used trusted testers to thoroughly go over my patterns to be sure you are getting a quality pattern from Southern Gal's Crochet.

Most (not all) of my patterns are constructed in a "as you go" manner. Meaning that they typically have pauses in them to finish a area before moving on, I prefer this to having a bunch of pieces waiting to be attached later.

Whether you are a master or just beginning with the basic stitches such as the Magic Ring, Single Crochet, Slip Stitch, Chain Stitch, increases and decreases then you can crochet all these fantastic creations yourself.

If you get stuck with a certain part of a pattern, then I'm just a message away! Together we can make a creation to be proud of!

I am so happy you stopped by to get to know me and my small business better.

Southern Gal's Crochet journey began when I started making toys aka Amigurumi over a decade ago. It's been a long journey of hundreds of sold finished items. In 2018, I started making and selling patterns, which took my business in a new direction.

I am a woman with many hats as most of us are. Wife, mom, nana and fur mom (he demands recognition since he does use up a good portion of my attention. Haha), are just a few standard ones. I fill my days with being a office manager at my day job, small business owner of 2 companies, teacher/coach and when I am not doing any of that I can be found crocheting..

I am based in Texas, so you may notice more patterns will be published in the cooler months, summer is long and hot here and zaps my energy. Sometimes it really does feel like my brain melts in the heat, my productivity pattern proves it. LOL!

My business goals are...

1. to encourage as many crocheters as I can with the art of amigurumi.

2. to sell quality crochet patterns.

3. to help others in their small online business endeavors in any way I can.
